Clones are able to perform different jutsu's from you, but that would break the time frame, only sharingan can tell the difference between the clone and your real self, clones and yourself are able to preform spit second jutsu if need be, clones can be used as decoys, the clone uses a jutsu and distracts the target, clones are able to release the real you out of genjutsu, clones can be used as meat shields and give you a better field of vision, removes the blind spots, you may have, lastly able to sacrifice the clone for important information.
