Adachi sighed as he found himself walking through the damned training grounds for about the nth time in a row. As if he wasn't abused by Dojima enough already...
A single individual stood rather nonchalantly in the grass, his hands shoved deep within his pockets with his gaze to the sky. "Kazuya, I'm assuming?" Adachi paused before his expectant student. "I'm Adachi," he said a matter-of-factly. "I believe I will be teaching you Ninjutsu today." He reached into his pouch, offering his student a kunai. "Now, before we began, I'd like to pose a few questions to you assure that you understand the basics. Although the term 'ninjutsu' refers to all types of jutsus, including elemental techniques, the type of ninjutsu I am teaching you today will differ a little. Firstly, what might be the two ways of controlling chakra? Secondly, how might a kunai be most useful in a fight?"

Kazuya noticed his teacher walking up to the training grounds. He seemed be somewhat tired for some reason, as if he had already endured a lot today. Either way, it was none of his concern nor did he really care. He was never really the type to reach out to people himself and he wasn't planning on starting with that habit today.

When in process of forming a certain technique or skill, two different methods of manipulating chakra can be used. They are respectively known as shape transformation and nature transformation. Shape transformation refers to the change in shape and movement of a technique. It is possible to change the form, movement, size and even range of a technique through shape manipulation alone.
Nature transformation makes it possible for a technique's physical properties to turn into an element. There are five basic elemental types into which the nature of chakra can be transformed. In order to properly mold a specific element, you'd have to clear your mind and focus solely on the characteristics of the particular element. The properties of Yin and Yang can also be used in nature transformation. This seperate method deals with changing the ratio of spiritual and physical energies within chakra.
Chakra can be channeled through both yourself and to outside bodies or objects. A fine example of channeling chakra is through a kunai, which makes an already effective weapon even more deadly. While a kunai is usually an effective long-ranged weapon used for either diversions or pressuring the opponent using a paper bomb tag, channeling chakra through a kunai enhances its sharpness to the point it can cut through solid wood and even solid stone targets.
