Ninja World representing countries?

This isn't really a question with a definite answer, more like a question with an opinionated answer really. If you had to name all the Ninja countries and tell us what they were closest to in relation of one of our countries, which would they be, and why? For example, you could say "I think Konohagakure would resemble America because they're both quite large and well-known, in comparison to the other countries" or something like that.

Please answer this with what you think, and why you think this. Also if possible, try to resemble all the major ninja countries (Konohagakure, Kirigakure etc.) and any smaller ones if you wish.

England possibly Iwagakure, since it is still quite powerful but not as powerful as other countries. Plus it is kind of known but not as famous as say America=Konohagakure.
