Which ninja has the sharpest mind.

I am really confused.

All ninja have really sharp brains.

But I want to know who is the sharpest among then??

I have tried to include some who I find the strongest contenders .

But you can always suggest new names that I missed.

Dude. Did you not just post this thread? Regardless I repeat. Shikamaru and his father Shikaku have the sharpest minds. Temari isn't bad either. It said in the anime once that Kakashi was smarter then Shikamaru (this was pretime skip by the way) but I find that hard to believe. Still think he is smart though.

And Itachi. Can't forget him.

well there's no many, I guess the above posts said it already. However, by the end of the day it's Kages and Daimyos who do the thinking. The rest are just soldiers..pawn!

Most of the Wars were lost because the "Brain" The Mastermind had been killed.

U are right but here I am talking about the individuals. Kages have other staff members and other supports.
And all these ninjas I mentioned are very smart and maybe smarter than the kages .
here power is not considered.

I believe Shikaku is the most intelligent. He was made the head of logistics for the combined shinobi army. I think that speaks for itself.

Kabuto is cunning (and intelligent in general), Sandaime is/was wise. Shikamaru, Minato, Itachi are pretty much geniuses.
