hey fellas!
I have a question

u may find it it bit silly but its about the hidden villages in narutoverse

they all have a suffix after their names 'gakure' which means hidden
eg- konohagakure--- hidden leaf village

its quite evident to all the people in the narutoverse that these villages do exist and are actually not hidden or camouflaged

just waanted to know the significance of the word hidden

share ur opinions.........

well, maybe everything is happening in a technologically advanced world but only this region trains shinobi and are kinda hidden from the other parts of the world

As for konohagakure, madara came up with the name after seeing the village through a leaf

Its called copy-cating. After hearing the first ninja village was created and named "hidden leaf". Other clans joined hands and formed their own "hidden villages".
