Ninjas have shown themselves to be ruthless, and it is only worsened by the fact that these weapons will continue getting stronger. Eventually a fodder shinobi will get their hands on it and become capable of launching nukes like this:

What about multiple chibaku tenseis? Or almighty push?

Or "sage art" techniques. I'm sorry, but ninja tech has ways to go.When there's jutsus that can destroy on a planetary scale.

Yes ninja tech was a mistake. They need to keep it natural and supernatural.

I'm not digging all this ninja technology. I like it the way it's used to be.
Why bring technology here? To attract newer generations, more teenagers to watch the anime?

Definitely, don't like the nin-tech. It served it's purpose in the movie and should've been left at that or maybe just stopped at prosthetics.

I think the pace and level of tech is the biggest problem they didn't think it through.

I disagree.
Ninja tools empower the weak and oppressed normal people in the case of an event that requires heightened man power or in which they need to protect themselves from the corruption of existing ninja factions that are supposed to be protecting them. If konoha were to experience an unprecedented attack, the normals would be able to defend the village by use of the technology, which increases man power by ten times.

Secondly, ninja tools are useful in that they promote the creation of new jutsu and techniques with the increasingly complex nature of the software of the product. You could take the example of food making using combinations that would appear to taste well as I have shown below:

You must be registered for see links "> You must be registered for see links " type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always">

Anyways; as you can see, the software transcends the boundaries of the mind's creativity to make new connections and if applied to ninja tools, new jutsus or fighting techniques.

Thirdly, ninja tools are useful in the exposure of high level jutsu for ninjas that are in training and would like to learn those jutsus first hand.

So really, it's like gun control. In america, you can just get a gun, but in Japan, you need to fulfill more than ten obligations after having gone through a thorough screening. To illustrate the extent of the protocols put in place, the individual that eventually gets the gun must have it secured in one location [discombobulated] and the bullets would need to be in a different location mainly another room.
