I have played rank battles for a couple of days now and Ive noticed that many people are scared to play rank due to radical play styles. First off I want to say its just a game and take nothing personal. I have many friends say that Rank is full of nothing but Noobs who use kimmimaro and neji as supports( Basically the the new hidan and pain). We all have diiferent play styles and I some what agree that some player supports dont make sense. People on rank do try hard to win and get there rank up but using those same support characters that have no chemistry with your main is a little radical just for a win. Instant awakening and regular awakening may be a little hard to deal with when it comes to an opponent losing to you but I have faced a lot of people in rank who like to do the their satisfying troll dance and avoid fighting when they know their going to win. I think that if your opponent literaly has 5 or less hit points left you should finish him instead of being a troll. I have lost so many battle due to the neji and kimmi support and people running away with full sub and full chakra just toying around.( Advice: If you cant handle rank or playing with unknown people, play with friends.) I havent even had more than 150 battles total and im rank 20 in under 12 hours. I admit, I have more losses than wins due to radical play styles but I have fought the toughest opponents in rank and some times I mangae to win. Lately I have made War tobi as my main and Snake kabuto(Gaurd) and Oro(Gaurd). Sometimes Sasuke(susanoo as atk). I want to point out that my team has chemistry in some ways due to manga and anime. It's a legit team too. I may lose to really high ranks who use no chemistry supports or abused awakening but to all those people out there who don't like rank or have trouble against radical opponents, Rank isn't as bad a you think. PRACTICE, TRY HARD AND STUDY CHARACTERS! You will progress your skills no matter what mode your playing in.

I have my own way of dealing with trolls on ranked, I mostly use Sasori because I'm really good with him. For player battles/tournaments or people with bad battle records I use Jiraiya with the Sannin team. Although I do get butchered by Susano'o every now and then.

I'm rank 21, 80 wins/55 losses.

Don't dislike them because of their defense. Respect them because they are willing to battle you in the first place.

That's why I hate rank matches its only for team matches and I only play single matches in single matches. 1v1 it shows your true skills not like team matches were people spam supporters as fck lol.

So because someone uses Neji as support they're noobs. You sound like a whiny little bitch. If you had skill then you would find a work-aorund to beating the person. I'm not even sure what the **** you're thread is about. Are you complaining or giving advice?

I agree that 1v1 does show your true skills with a character. I also think that team battles takes skill even further because its shows how well you can deal with not just one character but with three. It also show how coordinated you are with your team as an tactician.

Neji and Kimmimaro just happen to be good at keeping people from coming to close to repeatedly combo the person. How is it a problem? Hidan's problem was that his jutsu lasted longer than anyones and even subbing still put you right back into his jutsu. Pain was and still is relatively easy to counter unles you used a frenzy pill or hinata as support and glitched a win.

Neji is practically the same as pain now, except that his rotation jutsu holds the opponent in place for a few seconds and lasts about a fraction of a second longer than shinra tensei before blasting them away, giving the person plenty of time to sub before being knocked back and being dealt full damage The major difference is that, unlike shinra tensei, rotation is unable too fully block amaterasu attacks, which is why it would be a bad idea to use him against a person like itachi or sasuke. Its also a bit harder for him to be caught up in combo cancels since the begining of his rotation gives him limited immunity from attacks for a fraction of a second, meaning that he has to be comboed the moment he enters the fray if ever used up close.

Kimmimaro's jutsu doesn't last as long as hidan's jutsu and it takes almost half a second before the full damaging effect starts, giving the person plenty of time to block or to move out of the range of the jutsu. Subbing does work with Kimmi too unlike Hidan, where subbing only put you right back into his jutsu.

Overall, these are actually really balanced and well-made supports. They are rather easy to counter and are considered to be quite good at repelling combo cancellers uup close. How do I know this? I main Neji and use Kimmi sometimes as support(I usually use Lee). That and I find ways to counter the most radical gamelplay styles, and these two happen to be really effective at it.
