It's mainly for the Role Playing section. The higher the rank, the more powerful the RP bios can be.

They are based on the number of posts you have.
50- Genin
200- Chuunin
550- S-Jounin
1050- Jounin
2400- S-Class
4300- Sannin
8000- Kage
10000- Sage
30000- Grim.
They are for Roleplay purposes.
Some biographies require members to have a certain number of posts
and to make a normal, unrestricted bio, you need to reach 50 posts.
