Saske was able to beat the eight tail.....Healthy Itachi is much more powerful then saske.Do you think healthy itachi can beat the NINE TAIL without its host...
Sasuke never beat the 8-tails....

Haveing control over kyuubi dosn't mean you beat him..
It just means that you have CONTROL over him.
If Konohamaru was an uchiha, and had the ability to take control over Kyuubi, would he be able to beat him? No I don't think so.

Yeah right Sasuke beat 8-tail well read the manga again.
KB just played w/ them & used the situation to escape from his brother.
Plus it's not Sasuke alone he had to get helpfrom his team.
Actually Sasuke got raped by KB & his allies had to bail him out.
