There is no such thing as elemental ninjutsu. You simply mould chakra in a particular way, so that it takes on certain characteristics of an element. For example, by making your chakra vibrate at high speeds, you get raiton chakra. It's just simply manipulating your chakra in advanced ways to create elements.
Chakra is the combination of spiritual and physical energy which exists in our bodies. This physical energy exists within every single cell of the body, and can be honed through general exercise. The physical energy, is like the yang. The life giving physical energy that is required for life, the first side of the coin so to speak. On the other side, is the Spiritual energy that comes from within. This energy, like the Yin, is dependant on the user's own imagination. Thus, it can be honed through study, and meditation. All living things contain chakra, although Shinobi can manipulate it and have weaponised it. This chakra constantly flows through the body, through the chakra circulatory system. This chakra circulatory system is, to a certain extent, connected to our own vital organs. This was shown when Neji Hyuuga attacked chakra points near the heart, yet did a lot of damage to the heart itself. It's somewhat based on the circulation of blood in real life.
Chakra itself is rarely seen, although when performing extremely powerful condensed jutsu (like Raikiri), charka can be seen to an extent with the naked eye. In most other situations however, it requires someone to have a sensory, which will allow them to see the chakra quite clearly, even being able to distinguish between different people. In addition, as pointed out by Karin chakra seems to have a reliance upon the user's own emotions. For example, when Sasuke was angry and upset, Karin described his chakra as 'Dark' and 'Intense'.
Now as I've said before, our spiritual energy is dependant upon our own imagination and knowledge. While the Physical energy, depends strongly on our bodies' phsycial condition. So in order to use Ninjutsu, these energies must be in perfect balance. The user uses the Spiritual Energy to think and envision what he wants to do, and then use his Physical energy to give it shape and actually make it happen. By using handseals as a medium, we are able to then perform feats which are normally extremely difficult to do or even impossible, such as walking up a wall. This is called Ninjutsu. Now these jutsu all utilize ninja weapons. Thus, they fall under the broad category of Bukijutsu, or weapon techniques. They are all dependant upon your use of basic tools, so it's important to mention that your bio carries these weapons. Some of these jutsu require chakra such as the giant shuriken technique. That's because they either enhance the damage of the weapons, or apply some effect tk them that can't normally be done. Now a lot of these techniques can be done with freeform, so what's the use of using a jutsu? If they can be done freeform, why waste the jutsu slot to perform them? And finally, in what type of situation would you use this type of technique? Perform and analyze them all please . Ask questions btw, if you have them xD.

Eyes grow huge and jaw drops as the scroll opens revealing a hefty list of techniques. After the brief pause I begin my training, I first focus chakra into my mouth calling needles to gather inside and starts spitting the out into the air. I then throw a windmill shuriken in the same direction followed by another windmill shuriken hidden in the shadow of the first shuriken making it appear that only one shuriken was thrown into the distance. Dropping smoke as the shuriken fly I toss makibishi onto the ground; as the smoke clear I begin kick said makibishi of the mountain "I may need to step there later." I summon a clone only to bind it with a black chakra infused rope, as the clone begins to cuss me out I throw a windmill shuriken at him and with my chakra I cause it to grow send the clone flying off the mountain. As it screams in fear I throw several kunai at it causing it to disappear. I finally throw a shuriken with a thin durable, flexible thread attached and begin to maneuver it around my body like a yo yo. "As for your questions I will address them in the order asked. Using jutsu like these are ways to help maneuver and manipulate the battle to your advantage. Using jutsu based attacks verses the free form makes them because the chakra involved in each attack makes them harder to defend or evade without the use of another jutsu. Usage of these seem to fall under supplementary or diversionary tactics in my opinion but if well timed or used in skilled hands all of these could be lethal. Questions I do have are in regards to the first just. How do the needles get into your mouth and how is it possible without your opponent noticing? Is the shadow shuriken able to be seen or sense by dojutsu users or sensory ninja? Can certain shinobi see the thread on the last justu? For example Uchiha?"

Seeing Dean appear out of a portal Keji responds with Dean-o nice to see ya again. Dean then goes to explain what is required of Keji and so Keji obeys. Advantages would be that this technique requires zero hand seals making quite fast I presume. Another advantage of this technique would be that in short range it would be nearly unblockable making it not deadly but more of a distraction to the opponent unless you have pin point accuracy. Disadvantages for me would be the range. I do have one question though how fo the needles get from where ever to you mouth.
Keji the looks to the right of Dean and channels chakra into his mouth. As he opens his mouth he spitsoutmultiplesenbon in the direction he is facing. Whipping his mouth and pulling a needle out of his cheek Keji speaks once more. Do you think we could just analyze the basics and then perform the more advanced ones.

Keji pulls out a bottle of whiskey after hearing what Dean had said, Thank you Dean-o. Keji then listens to what Dean had to say about the technique Keji begins to analyze.
Advantages, you get to hit the opponent with two shuriken. The reason being that when throwing the first fuma shuriken you launch a second in the shadow of the first. This only allows your opponent to see one shuriken even though there are two.
Disadvantages, since this is a shuriken jutsu it isn't as flashy as other techniques. What I mean by this is that since you have to manually you must use some type of diversion such as a mist to hide the tossing of the second shuriken. What I would suggest is pull out both side by side in the same hand and toss both simultaneously, if at all possible.

This also just works on small animals/summons, and not large ones and as such, can also be broken by outside means like when you are distracted or disrupted. Pretty cool for holding small summons if you have to."

Keji crosses his arms then puts on hand on his chin.
Advantages would be binding small summons which would prevent them from causing you harm or in a more RP sense could prevent a lot more. You could also restrict a Inuzuka dog now that I think about.
Disadvantages would be that it is only limited to small summons, needs you to have constant focus on the creature or creatures, and only works on animals.

Killer intent if used to strike fear into the target(s). This is done in two ways one being if the target is a shinobi rank below you, it would cause them to hesitate to attack, stumble or mess up weaving a hand seal depending on your proximity to them. The other is if the target(s) are 2 or more shinobi ranks below you then the intent could cause them to see nightmarish visions of their death or even completely paralyze them. This technique is often believed to be a genjutsu but in truth, it is simple you imposing your will onto the target via presence. The effects of killer intent are varied depending on range and amount of targets you are trying to effect. To break out of one's intent, you would have to cause yourself severe pain to one's self, use a mind cleansing technique or impose your own killer intent upon the caster. I would personally only use this technique in mid to close range as it is more effective the closer you are to the target. Also, would probably only use it in one v one battle so you can focus all that intent on one target for maximum effectiveness.

Advantage, of this jutsu, would be the diversion that it causes. This diversion allows the user to follow up with other attacks unnoticed and is a perfect cover to use Illusion Technique: Flower Petal Escape effectively trapping your target in a genjutsu without them knowing it.
Disadvantages would be futon jutsu as they could just blow the pedals away. The only other thing I can think of is that this jutsu has no other function besides diversion.
