My dreams are made of nightmares,
Things I shouldn't see,
And the things I've always wanted,
Taken far from me.

People that I love,
Walk the other way,
In my dreams that are my nightmares,
Everyone refuse to stay.

Tears are pouring from my eyes,
But there's not a soul that cares,
As I wait here silently screaming,
Dreaming of these nightmares.

All alone in this dark place,
Calling out to someone who's not here,
While dreaming of my nightmares,
My vision is becoming clear.

My dreams of my nightmares,
Are the things I refuse to feel,
Not asleep and not dreaming,
All of my nightmares are real.
