Sand Release is a versatile KG that was introduced in the series by the Fifth Kazekage; Gaara. On NB, there are a lot of cannon sand techniques that are utilizable for insane combos to overpower the enemy and what makes it more interesting is that there are still rooms for customs to be made. Sand can be manipulated to virtually do anything thing as long as your imagination allows, its one of the best KGs IMO. It's weak against water and strong against earth and fire. Apart from the basic Sand release, there are other sand variations like Iron Sand and Gold Dust both which are exclusive to their respective characters.
The only downside to Sand I see is that the user can only manipulate existing sand and not being able to create sand.

If I'm not mistaken there are several sand techs where you create sand. It isn't just controlling already present sand.
Anyway this first one creates a 3rd eye for you to put to use. Tell me everything you can about it. Advantages, disadvantages, personal ways you'd use it etc. Don't slack.
( Daisan No Me ) - The Third Eye

A technique that creates spiralling sand from below a target to lift them. It has a decent range and the spiralling of the sand would do minor damage as it lifts people or things up.
( Suna Hokori Sākuru ) - Sand Dust Circle

Pitch Black nods after receiving the set of techniques to perform from Sir Croc. He sighs out loudly and trusts his instincts to be able to perform them even though he had no idea of them until now.
He was standing on his fort, a large expanse of sand covered terrain where he could easily utilize his kekkai genkai to the maximum. Pitch begins by flowing his chakra into the sand in front of him lifting a chunk of it up into the air and by further manipulating it via his acute mind he was able to create an eye-like object from the sand that hovers into the air above him allowing him to see/scan the entire area with ease. Knowing he had to sacrifice an eye temporarily to achieve this new feat, he closes his left eye as its connected to the third eye through some invisible optic nerve.
"This technique could be used in many versatile ways ranging from spying, to tracking to seeing up mid range. It can be created to see above the range of mists, dust storms and normal weather conditions that hinder eye sight. The fact that it rids the normal eye isn't that neat since it could be utilized as a disadvantage by a smart opponent. Besides, the range sucks in my opinion, assuming it was made to see up to long range would be pretty solid. Then its low rank is somewhat iffy, it can be destroyed by a C rank tech of any element. My question is, when this eye is placed in an illusion via the sharingan does it affect the user too since they are connected via the invisible optic nerve?

Black flows a portion of his chakra into the sand in front of him manipulating it to create a moderate sized shield of sand that shoots multiple shards of sand from its surface capable of bruising an opponent if left undefended.
"One of the basic applications of sand release, this manner of technique is very common to all elements (this particular application) so its not really worthwhile like that."
Finally, Pitch controls the sand beneath a training dummy via his chakra to erupt a spinning pillar of pure sand to lift it into the air leaving it open to be assaulted. Pitch then launches a barrage of kunai to the airborne dummy.
"Pretty simple and easy to get. It can be used to set up a combo if used the right way."

These clones can be made from the earth or pre existing sand source.

Pitch Black flows his chakra into the sand beneath the training dummy that is mid range away from him, manipulating the sand to create multiple pillars of pure sand to erect from below to raise the dummy into the air setting it up for an aerial combo.
Not too much details to work on. Pretty straightforward and easy to understand.
Not stopping there, Pitch manipulates the sand to create an incomplete clone variation of sand which takes the normal brown colour making it easily distinguishable from the original.
Also pretty easy to understand.
Black continues by flowing his chakra into the sans beneath his opponent causing it to lose its firm quality and loosen up quickly creating a continuous wave of sand that moves it away into long range, away from Black.
Its pretty neat, useful to delay attack and allow an opponent to lose aim of a projectile attack.
Pitch focuses his chakra into the earth manipulating it to reveal 10 different spheres of sand that rises up in front of him before launching towards the target at blinding speeds. With his acute focus on the tech, it made it easy for him to alter their path to evade obstructions.

After receiving instructions, Pitch flows his chakra into the sand and spreads it across the terrain which in turn alerts him of every thing around him including the location of objects and beings.
Its a required technique that's essential, I mean who wouldn't like sensing his surroundings plus it can detect hidden opponents too, that makes it cooler.
- The Second One is a Gaara Exclusive
Pitch would receive his instructions and act accordingly by flowing his chakra to a location beneath his target and loosen up the earth causing the target to fall and sink in to the pit before getting immobilized pretty quickly.
A pretty straightforward technique, though it has a low rank, its extremely deadly and can prove fatal if used right.
Pitch flows his chakra into the sand and manipulates a portion of it to rise up while raising himself in the process into the air. It resembles a cloud that has the ability to transport the user and can be used to evade attacks.
