Yeah whoever opens 8th gate dies when they run out of chakra.
But it seems Naruto made an exception here by doing something to gai. Though I wonder how Gai's gonna live with that body if Kishi decides to keep him alive.

I believe Naruto can revive his foot back to normal or Kabuto just use Hashi's DNA, imo... I can see that happening.

it would be good if Gai loses his one leg otherwise it will be called as an asspull for sure.

Naruto is healing the unhealable with little to no contact.. guy will be kicking again or kishi shoulda let him die the warriors death he earned.
