Many people have been too busy complaining about how Kakashi isn't dead yet from that Rasengan, how Minato has Sage Mode etc, that they didn't realise we just received a good bit of development. Unlike previous chapters, where Madara doesn't seem to give a damn in the world about Tsuki no Me, now we're actually starting to see his actual motives why, and I can understand where he gets them from.

He's no longer this picture-perfect cardboard cut out villain that I thought he was, this chapter wasn't too bad for me, don't see what everybody's complaining about.

Agreed. Madara wants to protect the weak, and I finally understood that when he thought of izuna while citing "the weak perish".

I hated the dialougue, it should have came before Obito changed. That way we could see him refuse Madara and twist the ending

Completely agree, I actually planned on making a thread like this tomorrow. His speech was very well done and got some of my respect with it. I also like how well-knowledged he is with the history of the world. In the past, Madara has come off as a generic villain to me but he's persuaded me otherwise this chapter and the way he felt about not only Obito but what him and Madara were to represent. I guess decades in a cave can really have an effect on you.
