Naruto has struck Tobi directly in the face with his attack, but I feel as if Kishimoto will ultimately leave us with yet another asinine cliffhanger. Out of boredom, I was mulling over the fact how he can do so, and they are in the following ways.
1. A Half Mask / Naruto's FTG.
2. Sasuke's Journey.
3. Madara Advances.
1. A Half Mask / Naruto's FTG.
Kishimoto uses some gadget with Tobi’s mask only falls half off, like what he did with against Konan.
With the assumption that Bijuu Mode abilities are in queue for a moment, and rendering such attacks as the Tailed Beast Ball useless. That would mean that Tobi can still abuse his Space-Time ninjutsu, while Kakashi apparently cannot; thus in turn would mean that Naruto would have to get faster to counter Tobi’s jutsu. The Flying Thunder God is quite fast, but Naruto’s speed will have to exceed that if he wants to counter that bothersome jutsu Tobi has. Kishimoto probably wants us to reminisce how Minato defeated Tobi and may have Naruto do something similar.

Switch scenes to Sasuke would not be too bad, as we will get to see “the ones who know everything.”

Lastly Kishimoto could always switch the story back to Madara, although this would be somewhat irritating seeing as how Oonoki is still trying to rally the Kages up to fight him. Ultimately unless Madara kills Oonoki (or someone) or meets up with Tobi this will be a very lame chapter if Kishimoto goes back to Madara.
