Consider My thread a spin off



So i was thinking, Who do you think will be the next hokage? Besides the obivious choice of Kakashi. I was thinking how abt Shikamaru? He may not be as strong as the previous Kage but he's definitly smart enough to be one. All he needs is a lil training. What do u guys think?

i reckon there will be no new hokage til naruto. i think he will be the 6th hokage, and the new sage of 6 paths.

Naruto....Kakshi doesn't want to do it and Shikamaru is like his dad and will prolly be a close advisor. If Tsunade doesn't die in this war, Naruto will be the next hokage.

Naruto may be strong as hell but i dont think he can run the village. Plus as mentioned in the tagged thread he's probably gonna go on some exploits like Jiariya

i think tsunade will die in the 4th great ninja war and after the war (when naruto becomes new savior etc.) he will be the 6th hokage

achaly, with all his millions and billions of mates to help him i reckon he could easily run the village, even now. even his dim wit wouldnt be an issue with shikamaru and shikaku on his side.

Naruto seems more like the villages hidden weapon. Like how A is Raikage and B is the Jink. Not saying B is stronger than A but he might be.

coz the 4th was stronger, and evidently more capable of defending the village than the 3rd. i mean, did u see what he did with the kyuubi's tail beast bomb that night? reckon the third cuda done that? no, thats what i thought.

They werrent Hokage @ the same time. 3rd was hokage. Stepped down so 4th can b hokage. After the forth died 3rd took over again. The villagers still referred to the 3rd as "Hokage" while Minato was incharged kinda like how George Bush and Bill Clinton are still called "Mr. President"

Yeah that was pretty BOSS. I doubt the 3rd would have been able to do anything to stop that. I wonder if Naruto will learn to travel long distances like that.

hypothetical:

1. tsunade dies. kakashi cant refuse hokage because there is nobody else (if naruto travels the world).

2. tsunade dies. kakashi dies. naruto becomes hokage because there is nobody else so he can't travel the world.

3. tsunade dies. kakashi dies. naruto dies. Oh crap goodbye konoha! On a more serious note, shikaku becomes hokage because he can no longer just stand on the sidelines.

4. tsunade dies. kakashi dies. naruto dies. shikaku dies. Either ibiki (interrogator leader) or Ino's dad becomes hokage.

notice that nowhere in there does shikamaru become hokage because he is not strong enough. yes he has intelligence, but every person i named before has high intelligence as well, except fo maybe naruto and he makes up for it in power. and a little training for shikamaru would put him on neji's level with strength. thats jounin level not kage level.

Shikaku is a solid candidate next to Kakashi. Those 2 would be very good together, the Smartest Naruto character and the Most Diverse skilled character, whose brain level is almost next to Shikamaru and he could go toe to toe with almost any other ninja.

Could Shikaku find a weakness in anybody? Is he that smart?
