Sadly we're getting a new filler arc about the chunin exams first episode of next year.
The Kakashi filler arc happen last year in the first month just like this one will, the filler arc started 23rd of January and ended 15th of May (Including the Akatsuki filler part).
The next opening and ending comes out on the first week of April, so, even though the last filler arc passed over April, it should be done around April making it 14 (or maybe 13 because anime might take a break on January 1st) episodes just like the Kakashi filler did.
It's a lot of episodes and a long wait but it might go down like this, first 5 episodes might be the beginning and middle of the test (Writing test, forest of death, etc). Then the rest of the 8 episodes will be the fights. Then the 9th episode will be everyone in the sunset celebrating then walking away.
But then again, it's just a theory.
