Eh that wasn't the only thing. Even during the daytime in the war arc everything was desaturated.

Then in the big flashy moments like when Gai used 8 gates the colors were still pretty muddy .

The gai fight was at night too , didn't u see the epsiode where infinite tsokoyomi was released? The colors are like what i posted in this thread , night and day colors differ

No doubt there were small moments where the quality got better which lead to more colors (like IT).

But honestly dude, you can't acknowledge that the color quality has been poor for the large majority of episodes over the last couple years? IMO its obvious.

The color quality dwindle sometime during Juubi invasion and Juubito arc but it look so butchered such large portion during Madara arc.

I prefer fillers than an animation of the manga version of the movie.
