It has to be a major character,Sai has had little exposure in team 7 the episodes as the new team 7 have ben short,Naruto has had more time alone or with other teams and right now Sai is being use as a sealer. Betting are on Kakashi,Sasuke and Sakura, Oh and Tsunade,sines they are considered the main characters after Naruto all others are secondary supported excluding Hinata who is in a category unto Her self because of Her love for Naruto and Neji's dead open Her role to become a main character because of Her love for Naruto. So you have Kakashi,Sasuke,Sakura and Tsunade as prime death candidates and Kishi hasn't made a clear indication for us to see and conclude.
