[Predictions] Next Arc

If you view the war as an arc in it's entirety, it's already longer than every other arc by far. But it's fitting since it's the climax of the plot. It's only natural to have all kinds of things getting resolved there.

That would mean the arc has another 2 years to go and Kishi did say we were at the climax of this arc. That would be a very long fight.

Kishi said in an interview that Sasuke and Naruto will meet again during the war. He said it in july or something to SJ. And this is the last arc of Naruto, it will end after the war. But there will probably be a few aftermath chapters. But no arc, lol... Besides the war is long from being over

IMO if there is another arc after the war, then Naruto vs. Sasuke wont happen during the war. Naruto trying to save sasuke is a big part of the plot and I dont see them fighting until the manga is near the end.

He/the manga said that a few times already; when the battles between Madara and the Kages, Obito vs. Naruto and Co and Sasuke/Itachi vs. Kabuto were underway for instance. Also when Madara joined Obito. Probably more instances.

Next Arc I am sure, will be revolving around Team 7's resolve.
If you look at the pattern, Kishi is going backwards with Part 1, in a way.

Its is highly implied that there will be another arc after the War arc and here is an idea about how it will go.

As Nagato says War brings pain to both sides so even when the Alliance wins they have lost well over half their army. The main characters are all going to be in a lot of pain and are going to be going through a lot of grief.

My gut feeling is that the next arc is about the main characters recovering from the war. Naruto will be dealing with his grief as well as the others.

When the 10 tails fired at the HQ he took out a lot of high ranking Shinobi so the power structure of each villiage will be heavily changed.

My prediction is that the next arc is sort of about Naruto saving himself. It would be the perfect arc for the Naruto vs Sasuke fight because Naruto has lost friends (Neji and maybe others) and now he is looking at one of the biggest losses in his life. The friend that he couldn't save.

Not that he understands Sasuke. I think Naruto will just not want to watch another friend die. He has just lost a good friend and now he is facing the prospect of killing someone who was once his best friend. I think that will weigh on him.

Implied may not be the right word. Kishi said that we still have over a year and a half to go. Possibly 2 years. He also said that this is the climax of the War arc. Plus there is still a great deal to cover. It just makes since that their is going to be another arc to fill out all the plot lines that are still around.

Plus a lot of people kept saying the Invasion of Pain would be the last arc when it happened, so I wouldn't say its over until its over.

I don't have the link but if you google Kishi interview July 2012 you might find it. He said it when he announced that Tobi would be unmasked in a couple of weeks.

Thats the interview but it isn't in there. Don't know why. I read the interview and a lot of threads were made about it.
