This is a major point in the series. If you feel it needs to just be overlooked and that it's irrelevant then you might as well not even keep up with Naruto because this part has a lot of depth that connects the whole story.

I was just saying how I think about it, you are exaggeration as hell now that I should stop keeping up with it, like dude.. It's just seeing them fight, how Konoha was created. I was only talking about the fight, everything else about it I am interested in.

I dont think the flashback will be long the pacing of the anime seems to be pretty fast...it will catch manga in less than 2 mos
