According to shonen jump magazine , They asked him about the jiraiya ninja scrolls and other anime only arcs:
Q: " " Mr Kishimoto what do you think about the new jiraiya ninja scrolls arc"
A: " Well at first i was confused but then my editor told me its in Tsunade's dream , after that i decided to watch it all , but i have to Say they did spoil Sasuke vs Naruto a little bit since it still didn't happen in the anime . About that i asked my editor to download the episode where naruto fights sasuke in the end of the war , i was surprised when he told me its still not animated . *laughs* i really thought the anime ended after i ended my manga more than a year ago . My editor told me its for money but i don't like the fact that the studio ruins my manga for money purposes" .
Q: " Thank You Mr Kishimoto for your time"
A: " No Problem Its okay its only that my children are begging me to convince the studio to animate Naruto Vs Sasuke , I mean I DID CREATE IT AND WHEN I ASK THEY SHOULD LISTEN TO ME "
Q: "Mr Kishimoto what do you think about the Crystal Style user in the original anime arc"
A: " Originally i didn't plan on a crystal style user , this concept is out from the naruto world , but the studio forced me to draw character designs for this arc , i only drew the character designs , i don't have anything to do with this story , but i can say one thing , it didn't progress the story in any shape or form . Its like another side story that doesn't have anything to do with mine . The boy that controlled the tailed beast was a silly idea *laughs* .
Q: "*laughs* Mr Kishimoto What about the the newly introduced character in the war i remember his name was yota no? Did u have anything to do with this story?
A:"*laughs* I just drew him the studio told me about how the character is in personality so i drew him , but the story is their doing , but as a war happening it was out of place , such story didn't happen in my mind at all , yet again it didn't develop anyone or progress the story , when i watched the episodes i was disgusted *laughs* its like an alternate naruto world , a completely new stroy that was annoying especially when yota started singing"
