I saw Los', Gambino's good but he doesn't seem to be doing a lot(didn't I should say I stopped paying attention, has he done more lately? I know he dodged the Duke Westlake Cypher invite from Watsky which was disappointing.) Slim Jesus is weak, I'll admit it's entertaining but beyond that there's nothing to it. His lyrical ability is minimal but I'll give it to him they have good production and know how to push. What's new to you? Logic put out his first mixtape in '09 and his first debut album in '14 that's new. Gambino's first mixtape came out in '08 that's fairly new but pushing it. No one said King Los was new the guy just asked if I had heard his 5 Fingers of Death. With the exception of Los these guys are all newer rappers, Logic may have been doing it for awhile but he didn't really come around until 09 that's 6 years. If I had meant the newest I would have said something like 2015 rappers you should be listening to. These guys aren't the old rappers but they aren't the newest either they're the newer rappers in between the older and the newest.
Try harder, '09's a year off and I was actually wrong Logic put his first mixtape out in December of 2010. So hmm, let's check yup that's this decade and I already said Gambino was pushing it on the new title. Plus both of their studio albums dropped in this decade. Speaking of decades since this one isn't done if we grouped by 10 year spans the last one would be 2005-2015 so.
Not really a reach this decade isn't done yet, you said try someone in this decade. So if at 2019 we bring up someone from 2011 as new would it be right? That's a 9 year difference but still the same decade. Yet someone 3-4 year difference is too hard for you to over look since it's not the same decade? Joey Badass put out his mixtape in 2012 Logic was around 2009. 3 years really isn't that big of a time gap.
