I recommend you read the first since it went into more details about the mother. So what happened is a 22 year mother in China, tried to secretly give birth to her baby in a bathroom and "accidentally" drops the baby in the toilet and that's how it ended up in the sewage pipe. To what I know is that there was too much blood so she couldn't hold on to the baby and slid through (sorry i suck at paraphrasing). But no need to worry the baby is fine and out of the hospital. His name is after the pipe he was found in which is "Baby # 59", which is pretty normal for Chinese people to name children.

Now my concern is the 22 year old mom who is being accused of homicide for dropping a baby into a toilet. Since mother did tell that the baby slip through I believe this was an accident. As long as the baby's okay it's fine. Do you think she meant to do it? What your thoughts currently?

I have handled deliveries, and in one of the cases I even had to help a mom pop her kid while she was lying on the floor of the taxi. She was 5 feet away from the ER but a babies gotta pop out when he wants to pop out.


The urge to push and bear down the baby is also like your urge when you want to take a poop. For someone who hid her pregnancy from others, I'm pretty sure no one was able to tell her about that.


And the cord and placenta are slimy as hell. Heck, the baby is slimy too. Baby # 59 just slid down under, and it was too late for her to grab anything.

This case gives me mix feelings. I'm just glad the baby is alive


I'd leave the judging to the court.
