I remember the first time i saw Naruto advertised on cartoon network. I was like "a anime about ninjas...that actually, dont look like ninjas....that kid (naruto) sure is hyper......i'd watch if it came on at a different time than that....oh well..." Fast foward a few years. I caught my first episode on tv "oh its that 'Naruto' show" it was the episode about team 7 in the forrest of death. They were fighting those genjutsu guys with the, what looked like, gas masks. I was like "That kids (sasuke) gots some moves and check out those cool eyes (imperfect sharingan) that's different..." Then i liked when sasuke came up with a "password" to deceive nearby listening enemies...I said "This animes got some intelligence too i see" more so than DBZ which enjoyed watchin too, but based off watching my first several minutes of this episode of Naruto, I could tell i would enjoy this in a different way. FF months later, I bought the dvd vol. 1 "Enter Naruto Uzimaki" After watching, i went all the way back and bought vol. 2 lol. At the end of 2, when Naruto and Sasuke out-smarted Zabuza, I was Hooked! The end of the last ep. of that vol., left me hanging sooo bad. I sought out vol. 3 right then, but....VOL.3 HADNT BEEN RELEASED YET..." I was calm though, I never collected an anime prior to that so i assumed, "it'll be out next week..." WRONG! I waited a loooong month and a half for it. When i finally saw it in the store, "Oh yeah, the cover is green, its got Kakashi on it, best of all...IM BUYING IT 
" I've been collecting them since, sharing them with friends, family, and girlfriend...I hooked them all heheeee! So while typing this post, im realizing more and more how cool it is to be apart of a forum with people that discuss something that I've enjoyed for so long. Now why didnt I do this sooner?
