an idea i have or like to see with a new x-men trilogy.
after the events of the days of future past. their actions which stopped the threat. spawns a new threat and changes the future. all events which occurred in x-mens 1-3 do not happen. so in the future a new threat a rises. the coming of Apocalypse. at the end of x-men days of future past. they receive another message from the future trying to warn them about whats coming but that message isn't fully delivered as it is cut off. then the scene switches to the future and it shows Apocalypse and his Horsemen standing over the x-men in victory
