new to hunter x hunter

As the title says, im new to the whole sha-wam.

im using crunchyroll and currently on episode 46 in 3 days.


if you havent watched it I say give it a shot,honestly the first 3 episodes for me were kinda borring but like I said, im now on 46.

ANYWAY;

heres the reason to my thread:

Ive heard the show has stopped? Is this true and why?

I also heard of a remake? So what am I watching?

Is there anything useful to know? Except spoilers haha.

the manga is not on hiatus it started back up three chapters so far one every wednesday. And since he got better the art style doesnt take a hit anymore and it looks pretty good.

Your probably watching 1999 version, they remade it in the 2011 version which continues the story. The anime is currently still going, the 2011 version. The manga is no longer on hiatus, which is a dream come true. If your watching the the 1999 version you can still switch to the 2011 version, since the only difference is animation basically-the story is roughly the same. I believe the 2011 version of the anime is on like episode 120~ish, where there is a new episode every Tuesday I believe. I also recommend reading the manga, its really good and it's around 2 arcs ahead of the anime.

1.) Nope it hasn't stopped, it's still going. False.

2.) HxH 2011 is the "remaster". Are you watching the 2011 version or 1999 version?

3.)Episode 46 is at the yorknew city arc and it's one of the best arcs. IMO it's the best arc & Chimera ant arc is awesome but that's where the current episodes are at.

If you are watching HxH on Crunchyroll then you are watching the 2011 version that is still going weekly and is in episode 134. The manga came back from hiatus this month so it is still going.

The one you're watching is the remake. The old one has less episodes and the new one is called Hunter X Hunter (2011). I know you're watching the remake version because that version is on Crunchyroll. ALSO, it was the manga that "stopped" but now it has continued again, it continued a few weeks ago...

Off topic but IMO I think Hunter X Hunter 2011 is better than the manga and 1999 version
