If i wasn't involved with any discussion here on NB about the movie, i might originally think the CM was more on jokes and casual talks between them friends since the series had finished and all, also to entertain the viewers. Ya know, jokingly being unsatisfied or surprised.
Perhaps they should make a series of The Last movies, like The Last 1, The Last 2 etc.
Or the production team shouldn't have given such title [The Last] to the movie because it meant more than just a romance story. Ofc fans would be angry, despite it had been announced early on that the genre would be as such.
The movie is canon, and if Kishi agrees it can be regarded as ch 699.5, i say we need more than that. There's a lot of spaces for the parties involved to add other stories revolve around other characters and explain the yet unexplained matters left within that 699.5th chapter.
