New story idea...need feedback/help.

Alright...I'm thinking of writing a fairly large story, detailing the life of Danzo Shimura. Starting from when he was young, focusing on his creation of Root, interactions with Team Tobirama, and his slow descent into the War Hawk we all Love...or at least, I do.

I want to portray him as honestly thinking that what he's doing is good for Konoha; that being said, I do want him to realize that everything he does basically marks him as a horrible person. I'm still unsure on how to portray Hiruzen, and Kagami, though both will still have major roles.

Any suggestions?

It'll be much needed. We don't get much information on Danzo, and we are seeing a one sided view. It'll be interesting to see what others think his past was like.

Well, you'd portray them as canonically accurate as possible, too, of course Hiruzen's the guy who's always kind and determined to serve the village (with a perverted side as Naruto proved early on - lol) and Kagami probably has the typical Uchiha pride but is also the kind and dedicated team member that Tobirama described him to be. The rest of it you could probably just use your imagination, and since this is assumedly being written to compliment Danzo's point-of-view, you might go on about Hiruzen's attitude/habits could lead the village to destruction, yadda yadda.

In one of the filler, Danzo mentioned that Kagami saved him quite often during the war. Should I have Kagami go out, Obito Style? (As in genuinely die to protect his friends).

I also follow the head canon that Danzo used Kagami's eye...as fodder to steal Shisui's eye.

Well, his fate's unconfirmed, so if you can make it to where Shisui's around by then, go for it (bear in mind the rather long timeline you're working with here – First War to maybe the Uchiha Massacre is when he could've lived)
