NASA Discovers A New Solar System.

The Kepler Space Telescope has been floating around space since 2009 on it’s search to find other planets. The Kepler team announced the discovery of a group of five planets that circle around a red star.

Two of the planets can support life. This solar system in 1,200 light years away.

“Imagine looking through a telescope to see another world with life just a few million miles from your own, or having the capability to travel between them on regular basis,” Kepler team member Dimitar Sasselov of Harvard told New Scientist. “I can’t think of a more powerful motivation to become a space-faring society.”

According to the Atlantic, while scientists have found that our galaxy is teeming with planets, it takes longer to detect planets that take a long time to orbit their suns.

That’s because Kepler detects planets when they pass in front of their stars. If a planet takes a couple hundred Earth-days to go around its sun, the scientists need several years to gather several transits, as they’re known.

Imagine if astronauts were able to go inside of a planet’s atmosphere. That would be very exciting.

Its a shame I'll never get to see any of it :(

They need to see what the surface of Jupiter looks like.

This isn't a solar system. Its a bunch of artists renders of earth like planets found from telescope data trying to show the concept of the hospitable zone and where each may be located. Our telescopes aren't strong enough to be able to distinguish solar systems. There is no way we could know that life is sustainable on these planets

Earth Like Planets found but those are way too far from Earth.. and data is in-conclusive on those planets habitability and no life-forms (living beings/aliens) are found yet outside Earth..

All we need to do is learn Minato's space/time techniques.
If we get there, and that's a big if, it won't be in our lines times, maybe our children's though.

Well Not A Straight Answer wont acknowledge the existence of alien life forms.

Without a doubt I know USA reversed engineered a starship but im clueless to know if their able to use our Sun as a warp gate yet.
Anyways a quote from a former Area51 worker "We have the technology to bring ET home"

The Navy is in charge of all space exploration, maybe theyll announce to the public about sending a crew to "Highly likely planets to have inhabitants" withing 15-30years
