If you quote somebody you'll get those quote brackets, with the text inside it along with the BB codes. And an arrow will appear next to the name which will link you to the post.
Every post has his own number, like the quote beneath has the number "12131229"
what happens if you click on the arrow, is that you'll be linked to the thread and "#post<number>" will be written at the end of the link.
So if you want to link somebody to a post, you can go to that thread+ post number:
but if you want to link somebody to that post, you first have to press on reply with quote, then you'll have to copy the post number, and then you need to add #post<number> at the end of the link name. Shouldn't this need to be done faster?
and there's another problem. You can't do that if a thread is closed.
Let's say there's a large thread which is closed, and you want to link somebody to a specific post, you can only link that one to the page, and then he has to search for the post.
I think there should be a small icon next to this that will look like an arrow:
so if you're scrolling in a thread, reading the post and there's a specific post somewhere in the middle you want to link somebody to that post because of something. You'll be linked immediately to that post, even tho it's closed. ((and if you have pressed on that arrow, the post will also be copied as a quote ))
exemple:
That's a random post of me in the closed Post the first thing that comes to your mind IV thread.
it is on this thread+page:
now if I want to link somebody to that specific post, I can't
or if I want to quote it and post it on another thread because of something I can't
but If 'll press on that "future" arrow in the bottom right, I'll be immediately linked to
((and at the same time that post will be copied automatically as a quote with the text inside including the bb codes to your clipboard, so you could paste that on another thread because of some reason))

If you quote this, and press on the small arrow you'd be linked to this post ^_^
