Fire Ground STAB is awesome, but I still believe Liiten will be dark. >_> fighting type would suck for Popplio if he isn't physical. >_> and he doesn't look it

I hope Litten's evolutions will not become fire/ground types. That would be terrible imo.
Fire/dark has to be true q.q

Grass Flying-Rowlet
Fire Dark- Kitten
Water Psychic/ Fairy- Popplio

Fire Ground sounds awesome but that x4 weakness to water lol...

Water/fighting wouldn't suck if it ends up being a special attacker. Pretty much a keldeo 2.0 with scald for the burn and secret sword, which are both special based attacks. It depends on the final base stats & ability to judge but water/fighting has good potential.

My predictions are

Grass Flying-Rowlet
Fire Dark- Kitten
Water Psychic/ Fairy- Popplio

I've found some amazing fanart for the evolutions of the three new starters. They look amazing imo!
If they end up looking similar to this, I'd like to have all three starters eventually, which is a feeling that I never had since the first gen. pokemon.

I love how the artist gave the ugly water-starter two beautiful evolutions.
The owl looks simply perfect and the cat is cool too, even though I'd still prefer a fire/dark evolution-line.

I love the serious and mystical look. Pokemon should go into that direction again, I'm tired of cute designs.

That one looks awesome too, but I think it is too similar to the cover-legendary of the sun-edition.
Personally I would like to see a black panther design with "Arcanine-vibes", how Gintōki called it, for Litten's final evolution. We already have enough lions, tigers and house-cats D:

Finnaly good looking fire starter, last 2 were trash but still choose them anyway. At least time it wont feel like a mistake.
