Hi guys.

I currently have a lumia 710. However, due to the lack of windows phone 8, and the consequent limitations, I want to buy a new phone.

Before my lumia 710, I had a phone that had android. I liked the OS. But the OS I enjoyed most is the windows phone. The way it works, the interface... everything, it's simple and pratical, just the way I like it.

Then, I was convinced that I wanted a lumia 520 or 720, as both have wp 8. However, there are still some limitations found in the wp 8, mostly regarding games, such as the lack of a DS emulator, a N64 emulator, and so on(I really want to play some pokemon games on it).

So, it comes down to the the OS characteristcs vs it's limitations.

Based on my problem, what do you think I should pick? Windows phone or Android?

Go with Android, it is highly customizable, has a lot of apps to offer such as an DS and N64 Emulator and if you're not fond with the user interface then you can download a launcher that'll mimick the UI of WP8.

Oh on a side note let me guess your Android Phone did not have stock Android on it or did it?

Android.

I'd kill to have a Note.

Love those things.

Windows Phone is just not polished or customizable enough for me.

But you should base your phone on what you like, not what others what.

Happy phone shopping!
