I have not watched it as I am not an anime fan besides a very select few, but from what I just researched, it seems to be an important one and one of critical fame, which is amazing for it. As for the complex, well, that is quite something. People experiencing that, unrequited anyways, are troubled and are indeed in a complex state of mind. I wouldn't call what I have a complex for it is true love. Also, Oedipus was a disgusting tale of messed up fate due to someone else's actions, misery, and sorrow. Mine is one of happiness with Mother. Similar, perhaps, but very different.
