New Opening & Ending

Starting on April 02

Yamazaru, a singer formerly known as LGMonkees, will perform the 17th opening theme, titled "Kaze" (Wind).

sana, a singer who has gained popularity on video-streaming website Niconico, will perform the 33rd ending, titled "Kotoba no Iranai Yakusoku" (A Promise That Doesn't Need Words.)

This could possibly be the final opening for Part 2 Naruto, but that is not confirmed.

I really hope that Studio Pierrot puts the effort in to make this (potentially) final opening well-animated, like how it was before OP 10. Ever since then, the animation has been very underwhelming, especially with OP 16.

Thanks for the news. Although this is definitely not the last opening as they have another one coming out in October in the Fall. The current filler arcs pacing shows that it's definitely going past April. So if you factor that and the fact that they'll have 38 chapters remaining to animate then there's certainly not going to be enough time to finish it before fall unless the rush it to the extreme.
