Hey there, I've been checking out these forums for a while now and I just registered to post some of my naruto ideas because I havent seen anyone with a theory quite like mine.
To put it simply... I dont think that Shippuden is going to be the final part of naruto. And by that I mean to say that I feel very strongly that there is going to be a naruto part 3. I mean why not. Dragonball got to have Dragonball GT (whether or not it was any good is an arugment for another day). I believe that once the war is resolved (however long it gets dragged out for), how ever naruto handles obito and madara, and once sasuke and orochimaru unlock whatever uchiha secrets they're trying to find kishi will end part 2. I think thay Tsunade is going to die and leave a vacant hokage position which naruto will try to fill during part 3. Maybe part 3 will skip ahead a few years in the story like they did with shippuden and we'll get to see what happens to the konoha 11 as adults.
And think of it like this: who here actually believes that naruto and sasuke (or any of the younder shinobi) have unlocked their full potential. Think of how exciting it would be to have a whole manga series dedicated to naruto vs sasuke. It would be so much better than adding another story arc just to have naruto and sasuke fight.
I dont care what anyone says, naruto vs sasuke WILL be the climax of this manga. And of course part 2 wont end with all of the loose ends tied up. Now I'm not saying shippuden is going to end any time soon or that naruto and sasuke arent going to have another confrontation by the end of shippuden (they most definetly will)... I just dont think naruto is going to end with shippuden. And it shouldn't! I wont be satisfied until I find out how (if) naruto becomes hokage and I don't think that will happen until naruto vs sasuke is settled.
And think of all the cool things that could happen if the story got fast forwarded a few years. maybe we'll get to see if konohamaru gets up to anything interesting, what asuma's kid is like, and who knows what else.
Thanks for reading, let me know what you think!
