I came up with an idea for a new Naruto story!
It would be about the next generation of Ninja from Konoha. Some of the students would be the offspring of the current generation and some characters would be completely new.
The back story goes like this: During the end of the Fourth Ninja War, Obito saw the error of his ways and used Rinne Tensei after learning the truth about Rin form Kakashi (that she was being controlled, manipulated, etc). Sasuke and Naruto team up against the Juubi and manage to defeat it, sealing Madara. Orochimaru possesses Sasuke's body and battles Naruto.
Naruto is forced to kill him.
Years pass and the Bijuu are split up once again but Jinchuuriki are seen as heroes instead of monsters. They enjoy fame and wealth for being host and get along quite well with their Tailed Beast. Kage are often the Jinchuuriki now, too, making it harder for criminals who want to capture them. Naruto, Gaara, Killer Bee, and Ao are the respective leaders of their village with some new Tsuchikage.
World peace has been obtained between only the five great nations. The Sound Village has impressively avoided a collapse in government is lead by a new Kage that is ashamed of Orochimaru's death. The Rain Village is still quite unstable and is a hot spot for terrorism. In order to create order, a Guerrilla group was put in place called the Yakuza which emphasizes unity and family. These two factions will become big trouble for the rest of the world, too. I wanted more than one main villain to keep it fresh and interesting.
Another villain of this series would be an Uzumaki. His name is Shinto and he's the brother of Mito and was the leader of the Land Of Eddies. He's waited in the shadows for decades in order to achieve revenge which entails the destruction of the four great villages for allying together and destroying his clan. As for Konoha, he wants to rule over it himself and establish it as the center of the world. To explain his age, he uses a seal like Tsunade does in order to look young. Even without out, he's able to be alive because Uzumaki's live unnaturally long lives!
In order to build up man power, he takes in Itachi Uchiha's son who was born in secret in a small village nine months after Itachi died. His father who was known for his excellent wit and planning feared what would happen if his brother turned to the dark side and ended up dying, so he ensured that the Uchiha clan would live on with or without him.
While raising the boy, he tells him Konoha ninja killed his mother and attempted to kill him in fear of the Uchiha clan's revival. He also tells the boy the tale of Itachi Uchiha and Sasuke Uchiha, convincing him that Sasuke was his father in order to build up hatred within him. The boy decides to destroy Konoha and begins visiting old friends of Sasuke to try and get them to join his cause. Suigetsu who has become like his brother and leads the Seven Swordsman joins after learning he is Sasuke's son and Karin, the best tracker in the world does the same, feeling a nurturing for the boy. She would also be 10x less annoying and cooler.
The trio bust Juugo out of prison who also swears loyalty to Sasuke's son. Over the years, he has managed to control his urges and has mastered Senin Mode. The Uzumaki uses Juugo to create Curse Marks for the members of their organization called Takatsuki which means "Hawk's Moon. The name comes from Sasuke's old group and the organization he was apart of. The Uzumaki also reveals that he wants to become the new SO6P and gather the legendary weapons left behind by the great Sage.
Also, Shinto wants an eye doujutsu in order to implant it and transform it into whatever ability he wants. He's able to do this by his acute Uzumaki blood which can adapt to anything and learn to cope with different chakra's (Naruto). This would make him more formidable. Also, any Uzumaki is able to do this if they have a Kekkai Gekkai.
Naruto's eldest son whom we find out is apart of Takatsuki is really a spy keeping tabs on Shinto. He "betrayed" his family and left the village. He also turned his Byakugan into a new Kekkai Gekkai called Photon, or light style (think Kizaru). The rest of the world thinks Naruto's son died except ... well Naruto. And no, that son is not the main character. Naruto had another child after that who lives in Konoha but doesn't know that's his brother.
The story would be about the new generation fighting this new organization and Naruto coming to terms with that Sasuke had a son and he doesn't want to kill him and end the Uchiha Clan there. Also, of course their are more members of Takatsuki than I put up there, but that's for your imagination.
