So, apparently he doesn't look like Kidomaru's big brother anymore. Instead Ikemoto took some inspiration from Bleach.

I suppose in the end, the Boruto Movie chapters did serve as a god warm up so we don't get the shitty art when the actual new stuff comes out.

I personally liked the original design better. It made sense (in how he fused looks with Kinshiki) and fits Naruto's artistic style. I would never have guess this'd be a character from the series.
