I think it's just her outfit, personally I think he character design in the movie could have been a bit better but lady Hinata always looks good.

I think this is why so many people disapprove of the recent focuses in the movie and the final manga chapter.

Kishi is going so off base with stuff he underdeveloped and ignoring what this manga is actually about. He could pull it off, but the focuses on the love story is probably going to take away focus from what people read Naruto for.

I mean it's his manga, he can do what he wants, but it's usually not considered good writing to switch gears so randomly at the resolution of a story.

I agree, personally I think her character design always looked better with long sleeves, her current fit looks like a mixture of tsunade's top and karin's shorts, it does look a bit weird at first, but the look has grown on me. A kimono would've been great tho.
