[Discussion] New jutsu idea for Gaara!

I was just thinking of something simple that Gaara could do with sand and wouldn't it be great if Gaara created a sand storm to make it difficult for his opponents to see?

Similar to Zabuza's mist?

I just thought it could be useful and a natural/realistic technique.

gaara should manipulate salt compunds... he uses minerals to strengthen his sand why not combine the salt in sand with those minerals... and manipulate them aswell

Gaara could do practically whatever he likes with his sand, it's a very versatile element, but his attacks in naruto are a bit one-dimensional

your sandstorm is a great idea, esp as gaara also has his sensor sand which would make a great combo.

I've also wondered why he doesn't use those sand bullets he was using vs shukaku in the semi-shukaku form. with a bit of practice those can become lethal.

he could also manipulate his sand in a similar way shikamaru does his shadows... to corner and pierce his opponent.

with his ability, imo gaara could become almost as powerful as naruto and sasuke

Nice idea but if gaara created a sandstorm he wouldn't be able to attack them as well its not like he can pin point an enemy by sound like zabuza

i think hes already capable of this, same with the "nara clan style" restraining and piercing. theres no reason why he cant shove his sand tsunami in his opponents face, getting it into their eyes and mouth
