This doesn't surprise me. If people actually read this manga they would be able to see that SasuSaku got a lot of development in part 1 of the manga.

-Sakura was the first person Sasuke ever opened up to about the Uchiha tragedy.
-Sasuke's reaction to Sakura being hurt by the sound trio clearly showed how much she meant to him.
-Sasuke voluntarily repressing the curse seal because he didn't want Sakura to worry and Sasuke allowing Sakura to hug him without throwing her away (like he did with Ino) is another clear sign of affection towards her.
-Sakura was the first person (during the arc where Gaara captured her) that Sasuke described as "Important" to him in the manga.
-Sasuke was willing to throw his life away for Sakura during the same arc.
-Sakura was the first person in the manga that Sasuke thanked.

Even towards the end of part 2 they had some moments, despite Sasuke's frequent personality changes and their distance from one another.

-The loving look Sasuke gives Sakura after she saves him from Kaguya's dimension.
-The smile Sasuke gives Sakura before genjutsu'ing her.
-The forehead poke at the end.

SasuSaku had a boatload of development and if you were a fan of either character it should have been very easy to predict that they'd end up together. Meanwhile, the retconned pairing of NaruHina needed a movie tacked on the end of the original series to provide moments that supported their pairing.

SasuSaku = Developed since the beginning, always destined to happen.
NaruHina=Retconned romance that needed a movie with retconned moments (memories of each other as small children) to make the relationship believable.

Tell me more about how Sasuke loved Naruto too when he jumped in and saved his life and almost died against Haku. SS had no buildup or development in Part 2 which makes everything in the end for it a retcon.

I am not able to find that interview as of now but in a Dec interview he said he planned on NH only after they became young adults which is Part 2 and in the first interview he said a "Fairly early" stage of the manga which may be Part 1 or since chapter 182 is still pretty early in the manga it may be Part 2
