New interview: SS is confirmed since beginning

I'm not biting anyone, at the end of the day when these pairings were decided is not important, I personally think they were decided early on based on part 1, but that doesn't change the fact that they got horrible, non existent development.

the couples in the end were only suppose to be SS, so naruto was only supposed to go towards hokage path. but since kishi became a husband and dad, he wanted to give naruto a girl so he chose hinata

All I said was that the manga was somewhere along volume 11 (end of chuunin exam time) when the anime started in 2002 (SS planned).

Kishi could have planned NH anywhere from 1999 (start of manga) to sometime in 2002 (anime start).

So that doesn't mean anything.

They could have been planned at the same time or at different times. Kishi has only said NH was planned 'since the beginning'. We don't when he exactly means.

For all we know, he sat down at a meeting in 2001 and decided on NH and SS, and only revealed the info about SS in 2002 to the VA's.

The bold sounds logical, he already has all the characters, if he decided on who members of team 7 will end up with (Sasuke and Sakura for example), naturally he will decide on who the remaining member will end with (Naruto) at around the same time.

Well he made a triangle relationship to keep the series interesting, and this is a short series. So it will either go one way, or the other. Though honestly I see her becoming his mate. I don't see why not since they are polar opposites and NH/SS/MK are all polar opposites (between who is dating who: NARUTO/HINATA - SAKURA/SASUKE). I'll wait till I see the third member and their interactions first though
