[Discussion] New Guild Master

So, I've been having an internal debate about this. Is Makarov going to quit after the S-Class exam arc? But more importantly, who will replace him if he does?
I chose to open a thread about this. Who do you think will take over as the fourth fairy tail guild master? Laxus? Erza? Mirajane? Gildarts?
I personally chose Gildarts because he's awesome and he's the most powerful mage on the guild so... just saying... but i do wonder what would happen if Laxus faced Gildarts. Maybe Laxus could come back after this arc? Who knows! What do you think?

Natsu, Gray, Happy, Fried, Lucy, Juvia and Gajeel should be removed from that poll, they shouldn't even be considered for the position of Guild Master =/

The only ones who should be in that poll are Gildartz, Mirajane, Laxus and Erza.

Both Mira and Erza are still too young. It would be best for Gildartz, however the problem with him is that he has the tendency to go away for long periods of time. Best alternative is Laxus, but he's still exiled.

Anyways, I agree with you that Erza and Mira may be too young (though I don't really remember how old Mirajane is). I think that for Laxus there are two options: He starts a new guild after the current arc or he returns to fairy tail. At least that what it seems to be after the whole battle with Hades.

That's why I thought Gildarts would be good for the position. But you're right, he does leave the guild often... maybe when he learns the truth about Cana he'll settle down?

I just wanted to apologize for making the same thread yesterday. I didn't read down to the bottom of the Fairy Tail Section to see your thread.

My vote went to Gildarts and the likelihood is Laxus will be the Guild Master after him. Makarov's will went to Laxus after Hades defeated him so I think that's signficant.
