New Gen Strength

Just a dumb discussion thread here.

They live in peace times, why do you guys expect them to be strong? Didn't everyone say that the former gen sucked because they didn't know war like the first Kage era.

The cream of the crop won't breed because there is too much competition. And fighting skills don't matter so you can't use strength to win favor over girls.

Well the mangaka will have to make them somewhat strong otherwise no one will pay attention too it,

The strength of the new generation lies in their DNA. Those of Naruto's generation have the bloodline of only a single clan.

Sasuke's just Uchiha. Shikamaru's just Nara. Hinata's just Hyuuga. Etc.

As for Boruto and his peers...
Boruto benefits from Hyuuga and Uzumaki genetics (not sure what his Namikaze DNA provides), Shikadai is half Nara and half Temari (daughter and sister of Kazekages), Inojin is half Yamanaka and half Sai (Super Beast Imitation drawing is kinda strong), etc.

I just realized that mirrored the nine tails incident. But that gen still sucked compared to the others.

They might not have grew up in warring states, but neither did Naruto/Sasuke's generation. They just suffered more as children during a time of peace, but it seems to be the opposite flow.

Boruto and the rest are going to suffer as they are transitioning from children to adults.

The story does take a dark turn, but they couldn't very well have some dark setting from after Naruto ending. If that make sense.

Well for one thing they're inheriting taken to also new generation suppose to be stronger and era of peace won't last forever
