Not really looked into the new movie much, but i was hyped from reading "origins of the saiyans", like you know? Was their a god of destruction saiyan etc, how did they come to be, so on so forth. So i don't get why he's just chosen a broly theme, something that's been done so much? Like i'm hyped for another movie and don't care if broly becomes cannon, but still, you know?

If he's gonna push Goku to super saiyan blue then this would explain a lot for sure. In the manga (meanin canon), Kale was able to beat up golden freeza but give super saiyan blue goku a mediocre challenge during their fight but he did noted that kale was getting much stronger as the exchange went on.
