I'm getting a new computer this weeks, it's an Asus desktop with intel core i7 3770 3.4 ghz 8 gigs of ram and an nvidia gefore gtx 650 ti boost 2gb graphics card. it comes with an lcd monitor, asus keyboard, and asus mouse and windows 8.

I'm getting the whole thing for 645 dollars (the graphics card is brand new, the psu is brand new, and everything else was used for a week before the guy decided he wanted a laptop).

Do you think this is a good deal? or should i not buy

That's actually a pretty good deal. It competes with what you could have built for that price. I say that because of the cpu, the guy you bought that computer from probably payed around $800 for it. Tho you may want to look into getting a better card, the 650 ti boost is pretty decent, shouldn't hold you back too much but a 770 would be kick ass in that setup. Also 4gb of more ram should come after that gpu upgrade. Then an after market cooler like a 212 evo and overclock the cpu. Ask the guy if he's oc'ed it before and see what he's got it to with it being stable along with asking the settings etc.

The 3770 is locked. And, 8 gigs of ram is sufficient in any setup.

Why would you even want to multi-task whilst gaming?

All you're doing is limiting your performance in both.
Are you serious? PC gaming and you don't ever want to multi task? You can close your browser and if you haven't set your browser up to randomly do whatever it wants, it'll idle not bothering your performance if you have enough ram. I like to switch between reddit, nb and the current game I'm playing. Sometimes I may photoshop and be playing another game at the same time. It's a PC not a PS3, you can get away with multi-tasking while gaming it's one of the advantages of pc gaming.

I suppose it depends on the games you play.

It's not like you could just go off for a couple of minutes when playing LoL or something of the like.

True. The games I'm talking about are games like baman arkhm city, naruto full burst etc. Button smashers that get dull after an hour, I alt tab for 10min, back at it again xD
