SO far, it's actually over. Fans are hoping Tite pulls out another series (like how Naruto has shipudeen) but so far nothing has been confirmed, except that it will end with Ginjo's death

i will return thought for sure the only real reason they cancelled it was because it was sooooo close to the manga i mean it is still close now the new arc will be called hell arc well that is the mangas so it has to be the animes soon trust me bro it will take bout a year to even let it finish so just read the manga cause the anime will not come back soon

It is not over, its on a official hiatus. They will continue but the question is when. They just didnt wanted any more filler arcs
It all depends on how well this final arc does, and by the looks of it it is going damn good.
In the end it's all about money. Once they realize how much they're gonna cash-in from this final arc they're gonna jump on the anime.
