I need this game. They're rating it M. I hope it puts the other batman games in the dirt. I might never stop playing it. They should make it big, like grand theft auto. Maybe give it new updates all the time and add more and more to it. Even add other DC heroes like superman, etc.

it IS big arkham city is only supposed to be a third of the size of this one. thats why you need the bat mobile. there wont be any other major dc super heroes in it maybe as cameo but if supes was in it itd be over quite quickly... however the red hood will be in it so that means we might also see nightwing and red robin at some point.

I'm saying just add other supes for DLC and challenge maps.

If Rocksteady does it right, this will be the game to end all Batman games.

Exactly. Now, while I do have some doubts since the batmobile seems to be done in a sloppy way, I believe the guys can pull it off and give us a blast.

It is not the Batmobile that worries me, it is the gameplay. Specifically, the combat aspect. Combat with this thing seems like a button masher, and not really a strategy or experience thing, due to the fact that the enemies faced within this monster of a vehicle are unmanned and are basically AI in both respects. Also, I am very much displeased with the preorder content and it's pricing here in Australia. I'll elaborate.

If you cannot spot it immediately, I'll point it out.

This is ridiculous. They're asking me to pay $170 AUD so I can:

1. Use a WayneTech Upgrade that was part of vanilla Arkham Asylum and Arkham City as preorder content? Bullshit.

2. Aerial Juggle? Don't make me laugh, this is hardly going to be needed if I can use Freeflow Gadgets and play to the level that I do (visit BatmanArkhamVideos' channel and search for his combat challenge maps playthroughs on what I mean when I say "play on the level that I do).

3. Batarangs while gliding. Batarangs while gliding. *sigh*. Just let that sink in for a moment. I could rant endlessly on this, but I won't. It's self explanatory.

Combined with the $170 AUD price tag, this is ludicrous. I am not preordering this package of the game, as I think it's pure insanity to even consider such a thing given the content and pricing on it. I look forward to the rest, but whoever thought this preorder content deal was a good idea and whoever approved it and put it through has balls.

Well that sucks, but then again noone is forcing you to pre-order it. Now, I don't have these kinds of problems as I will just pirate it anyway. (Yes that does sound douchey but I can't afford 170$ for a game that I'll play only for a short time.)
I like the combat a lot as it seems simple and fun. I haven't played Arkham Origins (skipped it) so idk if they changed something there. I hope they don't ruin what's cool and glorify what is really irrelevant.
I also hope the game won't have to rely on Joker yet again because I'm pretty sure the fans are tired of him constantly stealing the show as the main villain. (Inb4 Joker is Arkham Knight.)

In the end, we'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah, I always hear about the insane costs of gaming in the Land Down Under. And ever since game pre-orders the likes of Watchdogs and Evolve, I've been steering clear of AAA game pre-orders, buying the game on day one has always been more simple.
