New abilities for Sakura

She really need some new abilities imo.

Do you have any idea's which abilities these could be?

I have a few ideas.
What do you all think of:

Mokuton.
The Haruno symbol looks like the circle that appeared on Hashirama's forehead in sage mode.
It might be slug sage mode, seeing how Hashirama started healing without seals, after entering
the sage mode. Sakura can summon slugs. Its possible.

Slug sage mode.
Everyone is gaining sage abilities nowadays, so why not xD.
Shikkotsu forest of the slugs is one of the 3 famous places.

Sharingan.
I for one would find that really awesome.
I hoped that she would be getting Obito's Sharingan in the Kamui dimension, but having seen todays chapter, this might prove difficult to happen (still not impossible to happen later on though).

Genjutsu.
Some strong genjutsu (according to Kakashi she is a genjutsu type after all).
The darkness genjutsu used by Hashirama/Tobirama or some other Genjutsu.

Sealing.
Strong sealing abilities.

Good ranged jutsus.
Most of her abilities are close range.
She could use a good long range one, while healing in the back.

Nervous system attack.
The attack that Tsunade used on Kabuto to mess up his nervous system.

One from the above list or multiple is what I hope.
With Naruto and Sasuke there, her attacks could possibly be infused with Hagoromo and Sage power,
so that they work on Madara, if her own attacks lack an effect like that (like sage mode does for example).


Do you think she needs new abilities?

Good point about the gates.
I forgot those. That could complement her fighting style.
Maybe she can sort of negate some of the effects
if she combines it with Byakugo.

With Byakugo she had been training for years. We dont know if she has training for other abilities too.
Besides, Naruto and Sasuke were given a special power by the sage.
With Kabuto and Hashirama on the field (with knowledge of Mokuton) and with her master being the granddaughter of Hashirama, it is not that impossible to think that Sakura could gain Mokuton (+ the other arguments I used in my opening post).

Good point. The teamwork wont be mentioned for nothing.
If Kakashi is gonna take part of the battle, he cant afford having a blind spot (due to having only 1 eye), so Naruto restoring his normal eye(or as you say, his jesus thing) is not that bothersome for me.

Hashirama and Kabuto are on the battlefield.
We still dont know the exact requirements for Mokuton.
Naruto having the same circle only strengthens the chances that the Haruno symbol
could be really important. Not that everyone with the circle has to get Mokuton.
Sakura has even done research on the Zetsus who had Yamato's DNA.
Tbh, Sakura using a form of Mokuton is not impossible.

Sharingan would be from implant only ofcourse.
Yeah I see it as a possiblity. Cant 100% exclude it.
I like to be openminded.

Genjutsu wouldnt be that weird, seeing she is a genjutsu type originally.

Sealing techs.
Sage mode.
Genjutsu.
Ranged attack (not having shown one, doesnt mean that she wont do one now. Maybe she knew her weakness is only being close ranged so she learned some long range abilities).
The nervous system attack.
Possibly gates too, are all things she could have trained for, just as she has done for Byakugo.

Not saying she has all of the things listed though.

Anyway, you dont have to believe in some of the things mentioned, having a chance to happen, but it seems to me that you toss them all away as impossible very quickly (to quickly imo).

And besides she wouldn't randomly implant herself with Hashirama's DNA. ( and yes, that's how you get Mokuton).

She doesn't have any genjutsu feats, like at all.

Sakura is great at chakra control so I am not that worried about the controlling part. Danzo struggled when his chakra had dropped to low and he had suffered fatal wounds.

I dont know how she will get Mokuton. Maybe with the help of Kabuto and Edo Hashi.
Maybe with the help of Obito. Maybe through research and implantation.
She wont just do an implant randomly indeed. That would be to risky.

Tbh, things like Mokuton and Sharingan could just as well not happen.
I am aware of that.
Its just that with my post i try to bring some openmindedness for them
being a possibility and why. That they are not impossible.

I am leaning towards Genjutsu. Remember when Kakashi said she's a genjutsu type? She spent 3 years training, and we barely know anything.
