Never mind Itachi and Nagato, Gaara hype is getting out of hand...

Mizukage was helping everybody at the start, giving information, after Gaara was overpowering him he stopped giving information. Onooki helped Gaara. Sensor type shinobi helped Gaara. Sealing and Kuna throwing Shinobi helped Gaara.

Gaara didn't outsmart his opponent, he had to experience his abilities 2 times before he could come up with a tactic and his tactic wasn't about outsmarting his opponent, just overpowering him with his lame sand control.

There wasn't one moment where Gaara was overpowering him trough that entire fight. And the only thing that was shown was when the Mizukage said that the giant clam was using a genjutsu. That's it. The Mizukage stopped providing information because he wanted them to come up with a solution on their own, which is what happened. FYI They would have never gotten trough the clam summon if Gaara didn't utilize his sand to find it's location.

The only one who truly helped Gaara was Onoki with the information he supplied about Jokey Boy. Really c'mon sensory ninjas and Kunai throwing ninja? Are you ****ing serious? lmao For one Gaara was keeping track of everyone's movements and already knew Mizukages location. How? He was using the eye of the sand the entire time! And he saved the "almighty kunai throwing ninja" from death in the midst of coming up with a strategy. He also saved Onoki by replacing his body with a sand clone.

Towards the end Gaara used a sand clone to lure Jokey Boy into attacking, while he remained on the ground covered in sand. Gaara used golden sand in his clone to use the heat of Mizukages clone to heat up the gold so it could stick. Because gold is heavier than the water inside the clone he was able to slow down Mizukages clone. And because of the explosions of Jokey boy the hail was able to cool the sand, and the steam in return hardening the golden sand and making the explosion less intense. Even the Second Mizukage was amazed by this and you're telling me that's not smart?!!? Get the **** out of here.

Gaara did receive help, but it was minimal. You're exaggerating and using your own personal opinions to try and prove that Gaara did the least instead of using the manga. And to back up everything I've said, here's some more manga for your ass.

I'll take that, thanks. I'm glad I can shed some light on Gaara. And I agree Gaara is not in the top five when it comes to smarts, but he is one of the more intelligent characters in the series and he's only getting better.

well he's still young and he has more space to grow/improve his ability than everyone else in his group including in fact he's ability is more useful and effective compared to naruto and sasuke.

How was Deidara at a greater disadvantage than Gaara? Sure, he used up some clay fighting those other guys, but if he hadn't had the village as a target, Gaara would have won.

Though it was a pretty awesome way to win.

Hi,

Lets forget about Itachi and Nagato for a second.

Whats up with the GAARA HYPE? Ever since he pulled out Edo Madara Uchiha out of his INCOMPLETE VERSION 2 SUSANOO some people think that Gaara is some kind of GOD!

I have seen stuff like: "Gaara defeats Itachi/Nagato/Jiraiya", "Gaara is the strongest Kage alive", "Gaara is strongest Kage ever" "Gaara can take on SM Naruto/MS Sasuke and win" etc.

They also tend to downgrade Deidara's victory... while it was a semi-fair fight and Deidara was at a disadvantage because he had limited amount of clay for C1 bombs and only 1 C3 bomb!

What do you think about this? Is Gaara really "that" strong?
